Our Story
Charlie Scott Designs, Inc. is a creative venture that was inspired by my late father, Scott Charles. In the early 90s, he would go to craft shows and take his stained glass creations and tie-dye clothes to sell. That creative mind passed on to me in the form of furniture refurbishment and woodworking. The business is named after him as he is the inspiration behind my vision.
My goal with this company is to take furniture that has been discarded or left behind, repair it, rejuvenate it, and send it off to its next adventure.
While I enjoy the design aspect of refurbishing furniture, I also really enjoy taking furniture down to its original wood and allowing somebody else's design inspiration to take hold. My customers have two options; fall in love with a piece that has come from my creative mind or give me the inspiration to make it fit their aesthetic.
